I used limewire pro and somehow it stopped working .. everytime i clicked on it .. hourglass for few seconds and then nothing. the problem started when I installed anothere P2P program (emule) and it didn't matter how many times i installed limewire.. same problem.. (now the older version 4.0.1 worked great).. Here is the soultion per last post from Lord of Rings.. You really need to follow step by step. Unistall both Jave and limewire. download java (1.4) and Limewire (basic). Don't try to insatll from a limewire that you might have downloaded from a p2P. Also if you are running Norton.. remove all the limewire permission. Now Install Jave and then Limewire (basic) .. wala .. it works..
now if you want to upgrade to Pro that u might have .. you can do so.. any error reporting just ignore (few Times for me). Now Limewire is back on.. i like to thank "Lord of Rings)
