I get and error message when i try to start Limewire. I just installed it, this is what I get when I try to open it:

May I suggest you uninstall Java using the Add/remove programs control panel. Then downld the Java installer & save it to your computer (DON'T install over the net) & then install it. Get a link for the Java installer from here: Fixes for Limewire It might be an idea to do the same thing with LW if this doesn't fix it. But go to the Start menu>Programs>LW>Uninstall to remove LW. Installing over the net can sometimes cause issues.

Lord of the Rings-- Thank you for all the advice you have given on this forum. I am one of the many people who can't get Limewire to run because of some kind of fatal internal Java-related issue. I have taken your advice (uninstall LW and Java, download Java to computer, install Java, install LW) but the issue persists! Incidentally, my Java seems to be working fine with all other applications and, like other users, Limewire used to work just fine on my computer. I thought it might be a conflict with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, but I just uninstalled that and I still experience this problem. Here's my error message. Would a HijackThis read-out help? Do you have any other suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!!
