ok, a couple of months back, Limewire was acting up on me, and me being the impatient thing that I am, unloaded it, thinking I could just reload it...well it's not working. Same problem that other ppl are having, my installer gets stuck on the java, I've had it only work once, but it froze on the start up...again I got angry. I've tried d/l-ing the newest Java, but that just freezes as well when I try to d/l, should I give up on Limewire or is there a way to fix this?

I have the EXACT same problem. I just gave up and installed an old international version. (International version uses a different installer) I'd give you the link but I can't remember it. I just went to Google and searched "limewire international download" or something like that.

did you recently update your video drivers? There have been many reports of incompatability with the new set of drivers that came out. Try going to your device manager, then going to your video card in there. Right click and hit properties and then go to the driver tab. Hit roll back and then it may prompt you for a disk or other material. This is all I had to do to fix my problem.
