HELP! LW does not recognise me
 

I bought LIMEWIRE about 4 weeks ago. so I presume thats limewire pro? but our pc crashed and we had to have a new hard drive. Now when i try to re download limewire pro it doesnot recognise me and each time i try to email them it wants me to re pay again. I have in the meantime downloaded the free version. But I paid lifetime membership. I am confused and dont know what to do
Any help out there would be great

i am in exactly the same position as u.
I paid for a lifetime membership on my credit card last week 2 days ago our hard drive crashed so we got a new one, I tried to sign back in but it says my email address is not correct ?
so what do I now do I have paid over $46.00.
Who do I contact?
Any body got any help for me please?

There's advice offered through out the thread link I left above. But also see this one get your $$$ BACK!!! (music members) AFAIK if you purchased within 7 days then they must refund you. Depends on your country's consumer laws on sales & contract law.

Failing this, get to your C/Card company & explain you got scammed & didn't get what you paid for. Most such card companies have a special scam/fraud section that deals with this type of thing. Hopefully they will cancel the transaction/refund you. But contact them ASAP.

Hi. I paid membership fee for Limewire Pro, but am using 4.8 version. When I try to contact them have to give email address but says I don't exist, yet shows I paid on my card statement. How can I get Limewire Pro without paying again?

You guys went off to a scam site and bought yourselves a lifetime membership to a club that doesn't exit, in other words you lot have been scammed and paid your money for nothing. I bet that you don't have LW Pro but the freebie LW Basic and as the scammers now have your money they want nothing more to do with you except, possibly, charge you a monthly subscription for membership of your non-existent club.

Take LOTR's advice and try to get your money back, as most CCs have anti-fraud schemes you should be able to get your money back.

Just remember, when buying software on the internet only go to the official site not something that promises the world as long as they get your money.
