 Just a thought I had, occasionally my scanner vanishes and is not detected. What I would do to correct this is to go to my device manager and click on refresh. If it does show but not communicating, try to "remove" it in the device manager and then click "refresh" and the computer may then detect it. To get to the device manager, I right click on My computer icon, select "properties" and then I can select the Device manager.  |
