I paid for limewire pro vir master card they said they had no record of it or even my email adress so I sent limewire a copy of my credit statment showing the money comming out they did not even have the decency to reply . A RIP OFF!!!

Did you ever think they might be investigating it. You know there are allot of scam sites out there.

This is going back to 28 june,I had a email from Christine limewire support I said when i get my credit statment I would send it by jpeg file and they would see in black and white that I had paid when I try to follow up no reply ,What am I to think.

I recently resubscribed to LW pro but I paid through pay pall so the charges were to pay pal. The original purchase was directly to LW and all went fine. I vaguely remember your post I think but this kind of problem is rare and usually it comes from someone purchasing LimeWire from a scam site.

I used to run linspire and had LM pro when I changed to XP I down loaded limewire while running limewire I just clicked on upgrade to pro followed instructions paid my 18.88 US it all went through OK when I clicked to download it came up overloaded try again later,'still trying' MINEFIELD

How does one get in touch with Limewire if the site does NOT recognize one's e-mail address 9and I have a receipt on my credit card statement (yes from the real Limewire, not a scam sight) that I paid? I would like to downlaod the latest version but my e-mail address is not recognized. AS far as I can tell the only way to get in touch to say something is wrong is to enter the e-mail address. I really like Limewire and would like to contimue using the product I paid for but cannot actually get in touch with anyone to explain my problem.

Any thoughts?
