I paid for Limewire Pro!
 
I paid for Limewire Pro and as of this moment, can only access Limewire Basic. Also, I can easily download the music, but cannot burn it onto a CD or save it to another file off Limewire. If I cannot resolve this, I will cancel my subscription and find a company that is more user friendly.

Firstly did you get LimeWire Pro for the $18.88 with 6 months of free updates from LimeWire?

If so, you should have received an email with your download link to PRO.

Secondly, your inability to burn or transfer music and blame LimeWire is the same as me blaming you for the gas prices. If you want to burn music it takes more than a BIC lighter. If you have a CD Burner it came with come sort of rudimentary burning program.
If you are having computer problems search the INTERNET for articles on Computer file transfers. I believe the book,"windows for dummies" is very good too.

Your technical problems are solvable, i.e. burning CDs will require to have CD/DVD burning software, like Nero. LW does not come with a CD burner installed.

Moving downloaded files require you to use Windows Explorer, I sure you can use the Copy/Move & Paste facility.

However, this "subscription" you are threatening to cancel, well LW does not have a subscription, LW Basic is free and LW Pro cost only $18.88, and for that you get 6 months worth of updates/upgrades. But there is no subscription.

LW Basic and Pro are available from the following URL:

If you paid any other price or got LW from anywhere else then you have been scammed.

Now newbie, all you need to do is find out how to configure LW for your PC so that you can get the best out of it.

I paid for the full program (Pro) and can't access it. What a waste of money!! Trying to upgrade? Waste of time as they say me email is not recognised (althought they sent me an email saying they had took my cash) If you are thinking of buying this...DON'T!
You will get NO support and no chance to get your money back. WASTE OF TIME

Athenrye. There has been a little problem recently with the pro upgrade page,which will be sorted in no time, furthermore there are also many hundreds of people getting scammed by unscrupulous websites. A few people on this forum try to answer questions like yours and forgive us if we do not always seem like perfect customer service people. We are not! ....... we just enjoy using Limewire. If you go to the search button you will find you can look up subscription. or any other word. and if you doo indeed have a problem it will be sorted soon.
