CAN SOMEONE SEND ME A LINK TO 4.8.1. EVERY SINCE I ''UPGRADED'' IVE HAD NUTHIN' BUT TROUBLE.. FREEZING, EXTRA SLOW SPEEDS, INCLUDING START-UP. NOT RESPONDING. THIS GOES FOR ALL PC ACTIVITY NOT JUST LIMEWIRE. RUNNING XP SP2 256MB OF RAM OVER 100 GIGS OF FREE SPACE WITH 1.80 GHZ HELP.

I am surprised any LimeWire worked for you you are a little short on memory for windows XP 256mb is the minimum required for XP and in most cases XP will not function properly. You would be very surprised if you added another 512mb of ram. You will be amazed by the upgrade of performance in you computer.

thanx for all replies. grandpa i looked into upgrading. but dell wants 600 buck for their 1 gig minimum.
