problem with java

I was using an older version of Limewire and it worked fine. When I updated to 4.9.30 I had to upgrade my java script. This locked up my computer. I had to uninstall both to get my computer back. Is it possible to get a copy of that older version anywhere?

It does happen sometimes that one version of Java doesn't seem very compatible with some people's particular setups. Depending upon which version of Java you have, if you have 1.4.2 then update to 1.5 However if you have version 1.5 then remove it using the Add/Remove control panel & install Java 1.4.2 instead.
