![]() I have a really frustrating problem..I have downloaded and installed LimeWire, I guess but it won't run because the installation failed to download Java. Why is that?? And then I go to download Java like it says and I get an error code '1500' from it saying there is another installation in progress but Java is the only one. Anyone experiencing anything similar?.. |

![]() Um .. Limewire doesn't come with java. You need to have Java installed before you attempt to install Limewire. Both should be installed off line if you have problems. There is a second Limewire installer for this purpose, for windows. The following link should help, http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...=fixes+working I hope this helps. |

![]() No, I'm having the same problem...the Limewire installer gets hung up duting the "Installing Java" phase. I went to the FAQ, and I downloaded Java directly and installed it, and then tried Limewire again, but it still gets hung up at the same place, but now it comes with a new error message: "error opening file for writing: "C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\jrestub.exe." Is there a fix for this? Thanks, Dan. |

![]() Goreckii As your other post was the later one, hopefully that will sort your problem. It will need a Windows person to inerpret this but hopefully getting java sorted will solve the problem. |
