Freeze on Install (JAVA) I have Java!!
 

Install Limewire, latest version. Win XP Home (SP-!) 512 Meg RAM, I have Java installed on this computer and need it for several reasons, including POGO games! When I attempt to install, the progress bars get about 1/3 of the way, then a box says 'Installing Java'.??? (I have it installed, and it works!) from this point, it just goes into a never ending hang......?? Third try, no luck. Use Ad-Aware, SpyBot, AVG anti-virus, CCleaner. Machine is clean at this point.?? Help.!! :confused:

BTW..Before Grandpa jumps in here and tells me to delete Java...As I mentioned, why do I need ANOTHER Java?? Looks like Limewire downloaded the bloated 117 Meg. J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3.!! (But of course, still get the freeze)

This thread may be deleted. I have downloaded BearShare Light...small footprint...NO Java download...works like a champ!!
