Please hellpp. Limewire question
 

I've used LIMEWIRE version 9 point ... something, but then I downloaded ITUNES and now I CANT USE LIMEWIRE!!! I upgraded it to VERSION 10, and when I DOUBLE-CLICK it, NOTHING comes up. NOTHING. No matter how many times I re-download it, or click it, it won't come up.

I downloaded the WINDOWS version AND the Windows Offline version, but it's not working. I don't know what to do.

Please hellp! Is it because I have iTunes that Limewire won't work?

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 in Fixes for Limewire (sample at bottom of page.)

There is an option within LW which allows sharing LW's playlist on iTunes. However this may cause extra cpu burden. So be aware of that. (It's under LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>iTunes>Sharing)

I did what you said in that thread ... but I couldn't find REPAIR for Limewire Version 10.

And then I did the compatibilites, and the run as but it DIDN'T work. :(

I didn't suggest using the repair function b/c it doesn't work on this version of LW. Reinstall your Java using the "Offline" installer then using the link in point #1 I gave above.

it works - just downloaded a song. its just really slow. but thank you!
