Hi

I just downloaded the limewire basic and after i go through the install process and try to run LW for the first time, the little LW logo box with the version number pops up and then a "language options" box pops up but there is nothing in the window and nothing happens.

Any help would be great.

I'm having the same problem and I wasted a lot of time waiting for a response. Sorry, only a miracle can save us.

A miracle or setting your Anti-aliasing and Anistropic filtering to "aplication preferred".

I noticed this fix in a sticky thread on this forum. Don`t ask me why AA and Anistropic filtering have anything to do with text showing up in a box, but it worked for me.

Right click on your desktop and select properties then settings, then advanced, then 3D. You may have to select "custom setting`s" to see the box`s to check to allow aplication preference of AA and AF.
