Shortly after this my antivirus software pops up and gives a message about SafeSurf and nsisdl.dll and also nsr84.tmp/system.dll

Ive already browsed your forums but this error refers to latest version 4.10.3 and yes JRE is also bang up to date.

Any help would be much appreciated

Is the computer you are trying to install LimeWire on running safesurf. I do not know anything about safesurf or how it works but it is possible it is blocking the install. I have never seen that message before.

The link below is the SafeSurf site.

As far as I can tell the safesurf dlls are coming in each time I download Limewire. It is not running on my machine. My antivirus software cannot find it installed. etc. But evertime I download from Limewire.com online or offline ver 4.10.3 the same thing happens. I might just go to another sight and see if I can get a correct install

I did some investigating on safesurf it evidently is a browser helper that filters out web sites I do not know if it has the ability to block DL or not but it may. Evidently it can be turned off.

The link below may help

Sucess at last.
Went to Softpedia and generated a successful install. No problems and Limewire is working fine.
Thanks for your suggestions and help.

PS Not an IE fan use Firefox instead
