Thank you for the link; gives good info...very complete.

I've chkd both disk and ram and both are ship-shape. I've discovered that if I manually delete the following; I don't have a crash problem anymore:

createtimes.bak
fileruns.bak
gnutella.net
spam.dat
ttree.cache

these are from c:\doc&sttings\username\application data\limewire. I monitored what files were being created as limewire started, connected, was configured and hashed my share and when I exit. The above mentioned files are being created on program exit and when I manually delete them before restart liimewire, i don't crash.
I must stress that my system runs pretty good, I've never had BSOD before limewire. It seems if I leave the rest of that directory alone and just delete the above files, my share and connection setting remain configged. Does anyone know how these files influence an incomplete file if I were to exit during a download, delete the above files (as I must or I will crash), and try to continue?
