limewire mucking up itunes

limewire's new itunes integration seems like it could be a good idea however i am having a small problem with it. Limewire appears to have installed a playlist in itunes called 'teacher's Limewire Tunes' which I cant get rid of, just open or disconnect. There is no way to delete it or even change the name of it.
However when I go into Limewire and look at the itunes integration option, it is unchecked. When I check the box to enable integration, another '... Limewire Tunes' playlist shows up in Itunes. So I know that is not the source of the problem. Is there a file somewhere that is telling itunes to keep this playlist and can i modify it or delete it? I already tried reinstalling limewire and itunes. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your computer connected to a network such as a LAN or WAN? If yes, then it could be someone else's iTunes playlist you're seeing. There's also options within iTunes itself. Open iTunes, go to Edit menu, open preferences, press Sharing tab, & check the options. This setting might be the culprit also.

Keep in mind the LW playlist you see in iTunes is simply a playlist. You can play the songs but can't copy or burn them. To do that, you need to properly add them to iTunes library. ie: How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes)

If the playlist you're seeing is someone else's on a lan then you can only play it. To stop it showing, you need to configure it via iTunes sharing preferences options.
