Recently my computer went belly up. I had paid for Limewire Pro but when I try to get on the pro site it tells me the email address is not valid. Anyway I have a new computer and wanted to download limewire again but do not feel I should have to pay again but have lost all my printed information about password and all since I moved and my computer went belly up. At the time I paid my email address was kbrittain@stx.rr.com. Since the move the email address has changed. I tried all email address in the pro section but it would not let me in. Can anyone help with this.

How mutch did you pay for pro and which site did you get it from. If it was over six months ago it wil have expired.

I had Limewire for over a year and a half. But I lost all my paperwork in the move and do not remember how much I paid for it. But just because it was over 6 months ago why should I have to pay for it again. I thought it was suppose to be unlimited? I have not tried to download a new version onto the new computer I was trying to get the information for my buying it once before so that I would have all that information again and could then download it having that information - if that makes sense.

Hi again Kay ... The payment for LW pro is for 6months technical support and updates. There is a slightly ambiguous part of the webside as I recall were it says one time payment .. this means ... for the SIX months. The 6 month period is clearly shown on most parts of the website.

I always think of the payment, which is not large more or less as a contribution to the development fund, although there are advantages to using pro imho.
