??firewall?? Help Me??
 

i have downloaded lime wire but everytime i click on it somethin pops up and says "limewire was unable to initialize and start. this is usually due to a firewall blocking Limewires access to the internet or loopback connections on the local machine. please allow limewire to access to the internet an restart Limwire".......i have tried everything possible to make it run. ive turned off every possible firewall thing on my computer! please help me!!!! im deprate:mad:

You need to read the sticky in the Connection Problems section. The first part "... check here first" has lots of info & advice about how to set up. Make sure your firewall's configured properly & don't run 2 firewalls at once. Do the port test & see what result you get.

Many firewall probs are due to internal firewalls within modems/routers. Read all the info about this & find out if your device has an internal firewall. Same for UPnP... find out if your router supports it & make sure it's enabled within the device & ticked within LW's firewall config.
