 By making a note of preferences, I meant make a note of any settings in your options such as where your downld folder is & where any shared folders are. Once you delete the LW prefs folder, you'll need to reset them. But perhaps you haven't even gotten to that stage. You could try changing the compatibility mode of LW to either Win 2000 or win NT. Right-click the program & go to properties & change compatability setting.  |
