It states it in the control panel that i have it installed, but i have deleted it numerous times and reloaded it, but still no avail!!

I have uploaded the new version of Java and STILL no joy!!!!!

Can someon PLEASE shed some light onhow to get LW back up and running on my computer!!!!

Issue there is that you can't uninstall LW using the add/remove control panel. At least you will only partially uninstall it. The normal way to uninstall LW is Start menu > Programs > LW > Uninstall. But there's also a uninstaller in the program folder. Also, re-installing LW will remove the previous version at the beginning of installation process. So I'd suggest you reinstall it.

Also, I'd recommend you remove all versions of Java you have using add/remove control panel. Then reinstall using the "Offline" Java installer which is about 15 MB downld; Java 1.5 (take the JRE) I would recommend installing Java BEFORE reinstalling LW!

It might also be worthy to delete the LW preferences folder before you reinstall LW; Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

Again, delete the LW prefs folder. Link above in my previous post.

BTW I like your username, alias Will O'The Wisp.
