OK help!
 

I've had Limewire for a long time. One day I went to open it and it wouldn't open. Just an hourglass apears for a slight second and it's gone. It won't open..I restarded my computer..won't open...

...So I uninstalled it and downloaded it again. Installation went fine, but then still, won't open!!! Why? Why all of a sudden? What could it be? Give me some options of what I can do to fix this problem.

Try reinstalling Java using the manual (offline) installation & deleting the preferences folder (all the info's in the above thread):)

If you're going to reistall both Java & LW, install Java first.

The other thing that could be a problem is if you're using antispyware which might be seeing LW as a threat. Have you installed or updated any antispyware lately? If so, make sure that LW's on the list of exceptions/allowed apps.
