"limewire wont open for me"
 

I downloaded the latest version of lw and everytime i try to open it it doesnt do anything it gives me no error messages or anything i click on it and the hourglass comes up for about 10sec then nothing so basically i cant even see what lime wire is about i cant download anything my system is windows xp please please help me someone out there in limewire world......thanx kim:confused:

Are you using some sort of antispyware? Some of these will see LW as a threat & prevent it from opening. If so, make sure that LW is on the list of exceptions/allowed apps:)

What version did you download. Was it 4.11.1 because if it was that may be the problem. I had the problem you are talking about. I just downloaded the new 4.11.4. Now I have absolutely no problems.
