How can I completly remove limewire from my computer? I have unstalled it but I keep getting pop ups that want me to send to [email protected], when I try this the mail is returned as it is not a good email addresss. Please help me.

i have the exact same problem!!! limewire isnt on the pc anymore and it doesn't show up in the add/remove progs too but a window pops up saying that "a corrupted installation".... and this message window pops up every 5 mins... i can't run any other program!!!

if i try to reinstall, it says it can't cause the first limewire is still running on the pc!

It sounds like a virus. See point 4 here (even though LW's been uninstalled, the virus keeps popping up messages)

Hi after reading the post on this problem I am having I used ad-aware and it looks like it is finally gone. I will wait and see over the next couple of days and see if the pop up is still comming or not. But I thinki after using all of my antivirus, spam, spyware and ad-aware that thie problem is solved. Thank you for your help with this.
