New Limewire? How come I cant open up my 4.12.3 ??
 

then....when I want to d'lode a newer version of Limewire ...it all says FREE...but when u goe thru the f hoops...it all COSTS money? ...

If you get LW from www.limewire.com the basic version's free. Pro costs $18.88 for 6 months of updates & email support.

There are scam sites that charge all sorts for Pro & basic versions... just stick with the official site;)

hye...thx birdy... funny, i put limewire in to search on google, but dod NOT get ONE with the homepage you gave me...so i saved it under favorites....sure enuff,. ... i d'loded it (again) & now I can get to my 400 + songs (I just deleted my old limwire desktop shortcut as it is/was useless..)

Can someone pleaseeeee help me. Everytime I try to do a search I keep getting a message that says, "Limewire is currently connecting to the network. My search will not return results until fully connected". I've tried adding the Gnutella port, but I get getting 0 results.

If the problem is not your software firewall, then it's probably your modem or router. Many have internal NAT firewalls. So look under the UPnP section of the following link to see if your model is listed, else, log into your device to see if it has a UPnP option, else see port forwarding section: Connection problems?
