Trouble upgrading to Limewire PRO

:( I recently migrated to a new laptop. Before I did, I purchased the upgrade for Limewire PRO. I upgraded more than 6 months ago. Unfortunately, Limewire tracks email addresses up to 6 months. As a result, I can't access Limewire support.

I have my order ID and would like to know how best to upgrade to Limewire PRO on my new laptop. Thanks.

If you want to update Pro, you'll have to buy again (as your 6 months are up).

You can't access your old Pro installers from LW support, it's up to the user to back up their installers.

If it's over six months than you could buy limewire pro for a discount. Then you can keep it for another six months. You will get the latest limewire pro downloads and limewire support. Birdy replied right before me.

gf2, I'm just about to try that:D
My 6 months expired 2 days ago but I didn't get any notification... we'll see whether I qualify for a discount!!
:)

Um Limewire PRO is supposed to be a ONE TIME PAY! I also recently bought limewire PRO, but never got it.... this just a few days ago...

Your Pro payment covers you for 6 months of updates & email support. Whatever installers you download & save during that time are yours. Once your 6 months is up, you can either keep what you've paid for or subscribe to Pro again. Some scam sites offer a "lifetime membership" but the official site, www.limewire.com operates on a 6 monthly subscription.

If you bought your Pro from the official site & paid $US 18.88 just a few days ago, there are links here to help.

Sending a PM to RSterne is probably the best way to sort things out.
