 Many people do manage to run it with 256 MB RAM even though it might be slow then. Did you try the offline Java Install ? (It is recommended that you disconnect from the internet while installing it) Try going with the 1.5 update 6 It seems to be working better than the others http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp Just press the download button and then choose the offline installer  |
