 Close LW. Control-Alt-Del & open process manager & make sure Limewire is not listed. If yes, force it to quit. Then download the "Offline" version of LW installer & install. LW installer will remove previous version at beginning of installation process. Sounds like your earlier LW version wasn't fully closed down before the updating & installation occured.
