After I download the offline installer, It runs fine until the file "spacer.gif"

comes up, then it justs pretty much stops working. wtf, y?

Try installing Java first use the offline installer. Uninstall Java and Limewire before reinstalling

I have java and all that. I did have Limewire on this system already but, my Anti-Virus progams identified it as a virus and killed it without me knowing. those punks. now I dont know what to do.

Change antivirus software and reinstall LimeWire
