registered email address and downloading latest version

im not sure if this is the right forum, but...

i have version 4.10.9 pro (i think) and it says i can update to version 4.12. i follow all the links and everything, then click the 'already bought PRO' link and it says to enter my email address i bought PRO with. but my problem is A) im not sure what email address i used and B) i think it may be an email address i no longer have any access to. (and entering this email address will enable me to upgrade without paying again right?)
so is there anyway i can change my registered email address so i can download the newer version without paying again?

i dont know if im actually making sense here, but any help is appreciated.

To change the email you bought pro with, you will need to remember exactly which one it is, then contact RSterne (click on link) & give all details such as date or approximate date of purchase, etc.

well ive tried the emails it could've been, but says the email address was not found. so i think it might have been over six months or however long it is. any way to found out how long its been?

im not sure how much i payed, i think it was $18.88 (i downloaded from the limewire website).
