Install LW again. It will try to uninstall the previous version. If it can' t do so, then you might need to use CCleaner to remove the rest of the old installation.

Besides, it is anyway a good program to clean up your computer and it's free.....:D

Go to Tools and choose LW. First try "Run Uninstall" if you get an error message, then choose "Delete Entry", and then after you've done so, restart the computer and try to re-install LW.......that should do it.

i can't re-install limewire and it isn't there when i got to tools the only thing that is there is learn2player and i don't know what that is

Reinstalling LW will normally uninstall any previous version. Else, you can go to the Start menu > Programs > LimeWire > Uninstall.

Yes using the add/remove control panel can cause problems.

BTW did you use CCleaner as recommended? It's a very good utility! Clean up your registry & then try reinstalling LW. CCleaner will give you a list of out of date or unused/obsolete registries. No point having junk sitting around your system. Besides it can potentially cause problems as may have happened to you.

You mean when being in CCleaner>Tools there is no entry of LW??
Did you try to re-install LW as mentioned in my reply above?? What happened?

Regarding the learn3player, I reckon uninstalling it.
