Song Corupts when playing

Hi everyone;

I have been using Limewire for a while. I just upgraded to 4.12.4 to hopefully eliminate a nagging problem. It did not work; it is still doing it.

Here's the issue:

When I play a song from my Library; sometimes it will just "corupt" right in the middle of playing it. It starts out just fine and after a few seconds or more; it will go into some kind of chattering hum; like a skiping CD or something. You have to stop it and start it again and usually it will play fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

Running Windows XP Prof; AMD 2800+; 1G ram; etc.

If you're using the LW player, try disabling it (tools > options > player) & using another player.
