 First of all, I'd reckon using the LW offline installer to install the program. And second, before installing it, make sure that the old one is completely uninstalled including the preference folder. Read here on how to delete this folder (Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire) http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36420 If necessary (after uninstalling LW) search for all remaining files on your system using "limewire" as search query and delete them.
