 Limewire does not play well with java upgrades! Got limewire to work again by letting the pro version 4.12.3 install it's own java environment. It automatically goes back to java update 3. I had six installed and it would not open (just a splash screen and then nothing....sound familiar?) Uninstalled java and limewire...then reinstalled using just the limewire installer. It installed java and then presto! I was able to run the application! Hope this helps for those with similar issues!  |
