Help! Save folder deleted!
 

Please help me to fix LW. A friend was playing with my computer and i think deleted the save folder. I tried uninstalling LW and reinstalling and everytime it says;
Fatal Error
"Your save folder is not valid. It may have been deleted, you may not have permissions to write to it, or there may be another problem. Please choose a different folder."

But i can't find out how to change the folder or how to fix it! Please help me...

Within LW go tools > options > saving. That will show you the location of your saved folder. Try changing it to the default C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Shared then click Apply & ok.

No, It doesnt work because it won't even let me open LW. I can't even get it to open, when it starts to boot up it displays the Fatal Error box and then forces me to close the program!!!! Thanks but any other suggestions?

Remove your current version of Java before you reinstall the update & remember to use the offline installer.

Deleting the preferences folder will kill all of your options settings & revert everything to default, including the location of your saved folder:wink:. Providing LW opens, you'll just have to go back through & reset your options afterwards.
