Unhappy need some help...plz

well, i need someone to help me out...i used to have LW pro but about a week ago it stopped working...the message it gave me was that i needed to dl a new file or something like that or get like an update...i went to the LW web site and it asked for the email that was used to purchase the pro version...the problem with that is...i bought this computer from a some guy and it already had the pro in it....so i dont have the email address....my only option was to dl the free version till i get the pro again....so i deleted the pro versin and tried to install the free one but in the middle of the installation...it states that i still have an older version running.....ive looked through my pc and cant find anything thats limewire....so i cant dl the free version......somebody plz help me figure out how to get rid of all the remaining files to dl it again....

Well, use crlt&alt and press one time the delete button to open the task manager. Then go to processess and look for the limewire.exe process. Force it to end. Then use START>Search....>For Files and Folders....> to search for all remaining files and folders using the search query "limewire". Delete them all.
Then download the offline installer of limewire for your OS from here:
http://www.limewire.com
Try to install it. If it doesn't work then you'll have to update your Java. To do so Uninstall LW and all Java versions on your system. Reboot and then download the JRE offline installer of the newest Java version from here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
Install it and reboot again, then reinstall LW.
