 cant get past step 5 of the setup wizard I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, but the screen that asks if I would like to run limewire on startup simply freezes! Everything else went smoothly up until then. Please help!  |

 Go to control panel & add/remove control panel & remove all Java versions. Then reinstall using the "Offline" version which is about 15.6 MB downld: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (2nd on list) Also delete your LW prefs folder as described in step 3 here Fixes for Limewire Then try reinstalling or opening LW. |

| sorry about that... i logged off and back on, and it worked just fine. i think my computer just overworked itself, its very slow and old and does that all the time. thanks for the advice anyway  |

| That's ok, good to hear it works for you anyway. I did almost suggest to reboot just in case but sometimes it's a waste of people's time so ...   |
