Try these things: 1. Delete your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point # 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

Not sure why you are uninstalling LW because the installer will uninstall at the beginning of installation. If you want LW re-installed, then reinstall. If you want LW off the computer, then go to Start menu, Programs > LW > Uninstall.

Whatever you do, don't try using the Add/Remove control panel to uninstall LW or otherwise it will cause big problems.

If still problems with LW popping up, then register at Norbie's site & get him to check your computer over just in case (he is an expert) because you may have a virus your AV program didn't detect; NorbiesWorld (click on link)
