Limewire Pro Missing Files 4.12.6
 

I've installed Limewire Pro 4.12.6, but it did not install gnutella and magnet network, and it wont open program i've tried downloading about 4 times still missing files:(

Where did you download Pro from & how much did you pay for it?
What program are you trying to open? You can't open programs from within LW, you'll have to open from within your saved folder.

How do you know there are files missing...are you getting an error message?

I,ve obtained it from this site, they were offering it, as a free special offer for limited time, ive downloaded it before but i had to redownload it cause i was fixing my computer, then when i redownloaded it, it does,nt install full files as for magnet and gnutella networks that are missing from .exe file

Is that your own personal download page? Legitimate Pro from www.limewire.com is NEVER offered free & the only 'special offer' is the option to purchase at a reduced price when your membership's about to expire...did you get a link to this from somewhere??

If you've got this link from somewhere dodgy then chances are that the app is dodgy too:wink:
You're better off either getting the basic (free) version or biting the bullet & buying Pro yourself...then you know the app is what it should be! The only place to download a good version is the official site that I gave in my first post.

i just downloaded net framework 2.0 and 3.0 i dont no if that would be a problem

oh and the last download was microsoft visual C++ 2005 redistributable

I wouldn't trust that site at all! Honestly, it might sound like a good deal to get Pro for free but what's it worth if the app doesn't work anyway? I bet you'll be getting popups for a week from that place:D

If you want to try LW it's best to get the free version first & try it out. Then if you're really happy with it, think about Pro.

Try installing the basic (from the official site!) this way:

Download Java's JRE offline installer here
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Go to add/remove programs & remove your previous Java version before installing the new one. Make sure that you install Java before installing LW.

Now download LW using it's offline installer here
http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

i've already had the program from this site but had to redownload it, it was working fine turbo charged without popups as if it was the regular pro software version but even the basic version was not working as well

Did you try redownloading after installing a Java update? Do you still see missing files?

i redownloaded j2se and limewire pro 4.12.6 turbo charge is working great thanks...
