Hello Limewire. Anybody home?(Pro download link not recieved)
 

Hey all, been awhile since I've used the forums, a little problem has brought me back, not even sure if this is the right place for it.


I recently re subscribed to Limewire Pro, around the last week in November. Payment went through, I got a receipt from paypal and I waited for my link. And waited. And am still waiting.

Over two months later, still no new link, no reply to at least half a dozen emails, and I've sent them to a couple of different addresses to cover my bases.

I'm pretty disappointed as I've had Pro for nearly three years and had no problems before, so to be treated like this is fairly disheartening. I dont want to pursue a refund, I just want my update link sent.


Any suggestions, advice?

First of all, did you buy Pro from www.limewire.com ? It would've cost $18.88 for 6 months of free updates & email support.

If you didn't buy from the official site...you were scammed. Search the forum for membership or scammed & you'll find lots of info.

If you did buy from the official site, why on earth did you wait this long to come here for help?:confused:

Yes mate, definetely the official site, I followed the links on the update link they had previously sent me from my last update. This would have been either the fifth or sixth time I'd done it this way, so wasn't expecting any problems.

Sent off a heap of emails in December, and had some time off over Xmas, plus 1 work a 1/1 week roster. I have been lax in chasing it up, but I gave them as many chances as I could before I came here.

Thanks to the link to the other thread, but cant see any help there. Will try the pm option. Thanks for your help.

Resolved, a huge thank you to Birdy, and thanks to Limenathan. Limewire are now back on my Xmas card list.
