Default Problem installing Limewire.

I installed LimeWire earlier today when I did not have Java. It said "LimeWire will not open until you install Java Runtime envornments". So, I downloaded it, and went back to LimeWire. This time, it opened, but I had to restart my computer to delete something else. This was not LW's fault, but when I restarted my computer, it would not open. I tried to double-click it a thousand times, but it would never open. So, I uninstalled the whole thing, then, downloaded it again and tried to install it. This time, it said, "An older version of LimeWire has been detected running in your system tray." I chose to ignore, and it continued installing. But, there were a thousand pop-ups saying, "Error with this file" and "error with another file". So, I tried double-clicking LimeWire, and it still wouldn't work. I've tried uninstalling, downloading, and re-installing several times, but it still will not work.

Someone please help me.

Try to check whether there is a Limewire process running in your task manager (press "crlt&alt and hit the delete button once, then go to the process tab). If there is, force it to stop.

If that doesn't help, go and search for all limewire files on your computer via START>Search>Files and Folders. Delete them.

Then you open your registry via START>Run and typing regedit. There you go to Edit>Find and search for all limewire keys with the search query "limewire". Delete all you find.

Then restart your computer and reinstall LW.

If that also doesn't solve your problem, then you have to uninstall LW again and also all Java version on your system.
After having done so, restart the computer, install Java using the JRE offline installer, then reboot again and reinstall LW.
