corrupted files

I accidently downloaded a zip file instead of an mp3 file. Now, all my mp3 files on limewire have been converted to zip files and I am unable to open them. Is there a fix for this and if not, how do I get rid of these corrupted files. I tried to uninstall limewire and re-install it but the same files came up with the undesireable results. Please help!

Oh dear not good....You have a virus..
The only AV that I know of to get rid of this virus is AVG, it is free...So if you aren't running that AV the best thing to do is disable the one you have and download AVG, scan your computer, get rid of the virus and then you can uninstall AVG and make your normal AV active again...
