LimeWire stopped working

I was delighted to find LimeWire in an internet search. I dowloaded the free version 2 days ago. I have since downloaded a lot of my favorite music.
When I went to use it today I clicked the icon and nothing happened. The icon flahed once - an hourglass showed for a half-second and nothing.
I checked and it is an active program.
What could be wrong?

Try these fixes and see if that helps....
Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE offline version....(5th one down)

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder...
