Can't uninstall old version of Limwire

Hi All,
This is my first time on the forums, so please bear with me.

Upon trying to install my Limewire program I received a message from Java reading: 'One or more necessary files appear to be invalid - Please download and install Limewire again'.

Have tried this, but new download will not install because of an old version still on my system - have subsequently tried to uninstall both Java and old version of Limewire.

Java uninstalled correctly but it appears that Limewire has not. It no longer shows on the Add/Remove Programs List, however I can find the files in the Program Files - there appears to be no uninstall file that I can use to get rid of the old version?

Can anyone help me please?

System:
Limewire version 4.12.11
Java version 1.6.0_01
XP Professional
512Ram

Thanks TaylorW

You need to uninstall Limewire using it's uninstaller from Start > All Programs > Limewire...
If you cannot find that there anymore do a limewire exe search on your computer and delete everything you find...
