Default Need to Reinstall LW every time I restart the Computer

I am new to LW. I am running windows vista and LW Ver 4.12.14. I was able to figure out how to install, download and transfer songs to my Ipod. However, I am wondering why i need to reinstall LW everytime i restart my computer? Is this normal?

You probably have something like Pest Patrol that deletes Limewire's exe file everytime you restart your PC.

This does not happen with any other program I have? I am not aware of any monitoring program on my computer that would do that.

Any suggestions?

Well Jkaye

There must be something on your PC that is wiping out the LW exe file, you see, I too use NIS as well as NSW and I use between 3 to 5 anti-spyware products, all LW neutral.

I also know that some anti-spyware products such as Yahoo anti-spyware, Pest Patrol and it's clones flag up and deletes LW.exe as spyware. Therefore, I strongly suggest that you must have installed an anti-spyware product that runs on windows start-up and deletes Limewire.exe.

So you have to find what it is and disable it.

Good hunting.
