mpg 270.6 KB junk files On many of my searches I will get returns that have the same name as what I'm searching for and they always seem to be 270.6 kb mpg files. I'm marking them Junk as I go but wondered what these things are and how they show up like that. Thanks! |
There more than likely viruses, I would add MPG into your keyword filter and avoid them that way... Some interesting info... WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of! |
This 270.6 comes up usually when I search for a film. Strange that all files with the film's name are junk |
Filter these Bad extensions, go to Tools > Options > Filters > Keywords. Now add the following extensions including the dot. .exe, .rar, .wma, .zip, .mov. Click Apply and OK. This will clean up a Ton of Junk while searching. If you decide you Don't want to block a certain extension then go back and Unblock it. Try this, I think you'll like it. What you are encountering are spam, and fake files. See Links below for more helpful info. Always use Bitzi to check video files. See: Recognising Fake files And for tips on finding good files, see: How to find music. Hope this helps. :D |
I don't think that will solve the problem. For example I was searching for the film [edit] 8 results all of 270.6 KB I don't think that all are junk Someone must have this film __________________________________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules.
