Why is the Install Corrupted?!
 

:bangh:I recently downloaded LimeWire Basic, and it downloads just fine. The problem is, that when its about 3/4 of the way installed, an error message pops up saying that the "Installation is corrupted, please download and install LimeWire again" which i did several times. I then clicked the link for the offline downloader which had the exact same problem. I tried deactivating my Firewall, but still, nothing. Could somebody please help me figure out how to get the program on my stupid computer!!?:bangh:

Try installing Java first...

Uninstall your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link...
