freezes loading digital audio access protocols

as the title says over the last few weeks i have had several problems of limewire locking up when loading with the "loading digital audio access protocols" in the message window. Once it did this once it would never get past this point again.

the only way i have solved this so far was to system restore back 24 hours.

the last time however i installed the latest beta version which also cured the problem for the moment.

i tried several time to reinstall the old version but it never got rid of the problem.

i have read on these forums now about deleting the prefs folder in application data. would this maybe cure the problem if it happens again?

also are these digital audio access protocols it is loading from a limewire folder? or some windows system folder?

what i guess i am asking is , is this an internal limewire problem?

apparently this is a beta version bug.

thanks for reading and if u have this problem too v 4.14.8 is supposed to sort it i am told.
