![]() I am a new user on Windows Vista. I had downloaded Limewire a week ago. Everything was working fine. I had a window pop up that said there was an update to fix a bug to make connections faster. I clicked on Update Now and that's when the problems started. I got a message that said I'd need to un-install and then re-download Limewire. When I tried to re-download, the message is "corrupt installation." When I try to untinstall, I get "files have moved." So I can't uninstall and I can't install. I have 2 other users on the same computer and Limewire is working fine on their screens. Should I have uninstalled Limewire from the other users as well? Where do I go from here? ![]() |

![]() The first attempt to uninstall was made by a prompt I got when trying to update Limewire. It said "need to uninstall" and I think I just hit the "next" button. Later I did use the Limewire Uninstall (not Add/Remove) but it says the file has been moved. I also think it's strange that Limewire works for other users on the same computer! |

![]() Here's another interesting piece of info. If I go to another user and start LW from the icon in the toolbar, it runs. If I try to start from All Programs, I get the installation corrupt message. The icon is now gone from my own start-up so I don't have that option. ![]() |
