Tried it all but nothing. (LW loads to 56%)
 

I have tried all of the suggestions and nothing works. This is what happens when I search for LW. A message pops up saying Data Execution Prevention. It then closes out the search. If I go to the C drive and try to open it there, a message comes up saying to help protect you computer, Windows has closed this program. Its just frustrating cause one day it worked and the next it didn't. Please help.

Just a guess but it sounds like your not the Admin on your computer. Have to be logged in as the Admin. Hope this helps but not sure. Sorry I can't be of more assistence. Someone else might chime in to help. :D

I have only one login. It is under owner. Limewire will load to 56% and then quits. Im not the only one with this problem so anyone who has fixed this, please let me know how.

Have you had any security updates latley ??

I just made myself a whole new profile to log in on and for some reason that worked. Pretty dumb huh? Does anyone have the true reason why all this happened in the first place?
