Disapearing Limewire - Stuck on Removing Previous Versions

My Limewire application disappeared from my desktop yesterday -- now, when I try to download a new version, the setup freezes on the Removing previous version(s) of Limewire message. I've already deleted all files associated with Limewire. Anyone had this problem?
